Research shows that people on the move often have a positive mind set, are alert, make plans, and are open to visual communication, the active space. Advertisement companies make a claim on a certain environment to exert their influence and take advantage of this active space state of mind. Now a days you cannot walk the streets without being confronted with flashy, mind controlling, and space dominating advertisements. The overload of hidden messages of how to live, how to look, how to think are filled with great emptiness, an emptiness which cannot be ignored. With Ad/Empty domination we make a claim of our own and we will dominate the public space with overwhelming nothingness, or rather a nothing that consists of everything. A void which contains Image up on image, message up on message. It’s an awareness, a concept, a mind controlling object against the companies who try to control the mind, it’s a creation of the illusion of a different reality, in which visual communication has increased to the point it can no longer exist. AD is the flatline of the visual overstimulation.
